Kosciuszko National Park, NSW
Heritage-listed alpine lodge on the southern side of Perisher Valley — open year-round for members and guests.
The Lodge
The Rugby Ski Club was established in 1963 by a small group of keen skiers associated with the NSW Rugby Union and Gordon Rugby clubs. A leasehold became available and the original lodge was built — a building that now carries heritage listing as one of a handful of Perisher Valley lodges from that era.
While the lodge has been thoughtfully upgraded over the decades, the integrity of its original design remains intact. Today it provides accommodation for 14 people with all modern conveniences, in a setting that feels genuinely of its time.
Rugby Lodge is a place to immerse yourself in the alpine environment — to ski from dawn to dusk in winter, walk the high country in summer, and make friendships that last a lifetime.
